Our teachers are ready to welcome the students and engage in new discoveries and fun learning experiences. We are excited and look forward to getting to know all our students as they learn and grow!
In order to build strong communication between home and school, there are a few items that I want to share with you as we begin the school year.
ARRIVAL/MORNING STUDENT DROP OFF – 8:30 AM
- Arrival for Pre-Kindergarten In-Person students begins at 8:30 am. Students cannot be dropped off earlier.
- 3K and Pre-K Students will enter the building through their classroom doors via the small play yard.
- Due to Covid-19 Visitor Policies - ONLY 1 Family Member can drop off students.
- Families will line up outside and follow CDC Health and Safety regulations such as social distancing, and wearing masks.
- While waiting outside and when dropping off students, social-distancing protocols must be followed (6 feet apart) both outside and inside the building.
- Classroom Doors will open at 8:30 am.
- Masks must be worn by adults and students in order to gain entry to the school building.
- Temperature and Health Screenings will be conducted every day.
- Breakfast will be served to all students every morning.
- If your child is not feeling well, you must keep them home. Safety and health is our biggest priority as we gradually re-open the school for this year.
- Electronic devices are being distributed on a rolling basis. We appreciate your patience.
- Students will receive tool kits to use during their at-home learning days.
Thank you for your support and cooperation. We look forward to working with you throughout the year to ensure the health, safety & education of all of our children and families.
Meet the Teachers
We are so excited to be working with your families. We can’t wait to meet your children and watch them learn and grow throughout the school year! It is important that students learn how to use a mouse and get used to using a computer over the summer. There will be an online component in which, with your guidance, they will complete activities and assignments. Our classrooms are located off the Pre-K playground. That is where arrival and dismissal will take place. You will receive more details in the Fall. Please enjoy the July and August activity calendar together as you prepare for your child’s first school experience at PS 100. We are looking forward to developing a strong school/home connection to provide your child with the best education possible. Our Best Regards,
The Pre-K Team Mrs. Kramer & Mrs. Trippodo
