Staggered Schedule for Early Childhood Classes

Dear Families of Our Brand New 3K & PreK Students,
We are so excited to welcome your children to P.S. 100 on September 8, 2022. To ease the transition into school, we are starting off the year with a staggered schedule as follows:
Group A: Students whose last name starts with A → M
Group B: Students whose last name starts with N → Z

Due to social distancing guidelines, adults may not remain with their child in the classroom.
As a reminder from our last letter, all students must take a health screening before being permitted to enter the building.
Welcome to PS 100 Early Childhood 3K & Pre-K
Dear Families of Our Brand New 3K & PreK Students,
I am so excited to begin our year together! I am Ms. Arbolino, the Principal of PS 100. I know that you have been eagerly awaiting the beginning of your student’s school career!!
Our first day of school is September 8, 2022. Please review the staggered schedule for Early Childhood classes.
We are excited to be part of this new journey with you and your child. Early Childhood grades are a wonderful new experience. Our teachers are ready to welcome the students and engage in new discoveries, learning and fun. We look forward to getting to know all our students as they learn and grow!
In order to build strong communication between home and school, there are a few items that I want to share with you as we begin the school year.
ARRIVAL/MORNING STUDENT DROP OFF – 8:20 AM

- TENTATIVE: 3K and Pre-K Students will enter the building through their classroom doors via the small play yard.
- Classroom Doors will open at 8:20 am.
- If your child is not feeling well or has a fever of 100 degrees or higher, you must keep them home. Safety and health is our biggest priority.
Uniforms
- Our school uniform consists of navy on top and khaki (tan) on the bottom.
Additional Information
- Please download the following apps: Operoo & Class Dojo. These are our main communication tools.
- Breakfast will be served to all students every morning.
- Teachers will be reaching out to you with class-specific information.

Dear Parents/Guardians,
We are so excited to be working with your families. We can’t wait to meet your children and watch them learn and grow throughout the school year! Our classrooms are located off the Pre-K playground. That is where arrival and dismissal will take place. We are looking forward to developing a strong school/home connection to provide your child with the best education possible. Our Best Regards,

3K/PRE-K SUPPLY LIST
Supplies to be brought to school
***Please label everything with your child’s name including any clothing.
Send in materials as soon as you can.
- 1 box of jumbo/large Crayons
- 1 clear pencil/supply box
- 4 large glue sticks
- 1 pair children’s safety scissors
- 1 package of water color paint
- 1 package of large size pencils
- 3 two pocket folders
- 1 school bag big enough to fit a folder and a small blanket (no wheels please)
- Healthy Snack every day
- Large Ziploc storage bag labeled with a change of clothing (socks, underwear pants, shirt)
- Small blanket or large beach towel for nap time
- Pull Up/Diapers that your child wars enough for one month
Classroom supplies to be share
- 6 Paper Towel Rolls
- 4 Boxes of Tissues
- 6 Bottles of liquid hand soap
- 1 Box of Band-Aids
- 3 boxes of Ziploc Bags (gallon size)
- 1 Box of Ziploc Bags (sandwich size)
