Second Grade

Dear Parents/Guardians, 

Below is a list of school supplies that your child will need for second grade. Please be sure to label all supplies and send them to school on the first day with your child. Please note pencils and tissues will have to be replenished throughout the school year.

Students should wear their PS 100 uniform every day. Our uniform is a navy top and khaki/tan bottom. 

Please make sure your child reads every day during the summer. Thank you in advance for your support and cooperation. We look forward to a productive and exciting school year. Have a safe, healthy, and happy summer!

Second Grade Teachers 

Please send the following to school: 

•   3 folders - one red, one blue, one of our choice
•   3 black and white notebooks (no spiral)
•   2 containers of “LYSOL” or “CLOROX” brand disinfectant wipes
•   2 boxes of tissues
•   pencil case/crayon box with your child’s name written in permanent marker
•   coloring materials (crayons, markers, colored pencils) to put inside the pencil case/crayon box
•   If you plan on having your child bring any food or drinks to school for lunch, a lunchbox is necessary. Please write your child’s name on the lunchbox in permanent marker so that your child’s food items are kept safe and together.
•     Headphones in a bag labeled with your child’s name in permanent marker for online assessments throughout the year. Your headphones will be returned to you at the end of the year
